Welcome to everyone involved in the 2007 USA/UK Pen-Pal project.

 

This webpage will contain links to different websites you might find interesting when researching the two different countries. We will also post photos and messages on this webpage so check back regularly.

 

All visitors to our school website are always welcome to leave a message, using the guestbook option to your right. Please remember that all messages are moderated before being posted, so they will not appear on the website immediately.

 The British National Anthem... you can hear it by right clicking and saving the document at the bottom of this page. The words to accompany the music are:

 

For most occasions only the first verse is sung:

 

God save our gracious Queen!
Long live our noble Queen!
God save the Queen!
            Send her victorious,                    
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us,
God save the Queen.

 

An additional verse is occasionally sung:

 

Thy choicest gifts in store
On her be pleased to pour,
Long may she reign.
May she defend our laws,
And give us ever cause,
To sing with heart and voice,
God save the Queen

 

(There are four other verses that are hardly ever sung!)
