Mr. French's Page

Welcome to Mr French's page. Here you can find all sorts of things Mr French has decided to put onto the web. It is most useful for his class but you could find something you want to look at. There may be links to useful websites, important messages or just crazy things. You never know what you might find, so keep checking back!

Messages!

Welcome back year 6. This is an important year! I hope you enjoy it. You can use this page at home to find useful websites or information that I have posted. You can also find random things to keep you entertained...for example the Simpson version of me on the left. Nice! I got it from www.simpsonizeme.com

I hope you had a good summer holiday - you should be receiving a letter from me shortly. In the mean time I have included a copy of our timetable on this page (scroll to the bottom to find it) as well as some messages to get you thinking like a Y6 ready for September.

Remember - now you are Y6's you have more responsibibility! You will have jobs to do and you will be representing me in everything you do, as well as the school. You are in charge of your own destiny - that starts with being organised and mature. The first thing for you to to remember is that dogs don't eat homework, or pens, or pencils so please don't lose them!

It isn't long until we go to Whitby. By then you really need to be thinking like Y6's. We will be working hard before our residential studying the coast, environments and tourism. You also need to be prepared to be independent and mature. You will love the trip - if you or your parents/carers would like to see where we are staying click on the following link:

Below I have attached a copy of the timetable for the first term. I have also attached a copy of your learning targets, this means that you can always look back at them to know what you are supposed to be working hard on. It also means that you can share and discuss your targets with your parents if you have the internet at home. If not, don't worry a paper copy will be sent home... you can't escape the targets!
